August was a lot of fun. I went to the Paramore/Fallout Boy concert on August 8 and it was AWESOME! I missed the opening act, not knowing who it was, later finding out it was one of my favorite bands, New Politics so that was pretty depressing but overall it was pretty epic. I had awesome seats!
Chris got a new job - yaaayyy - so he's been using up vacation and sick time. It's been so awesome spending so much time with him. The boys love it! One day we had a sushi lunch date while all the boys were in school. On Tuesdays and Thursdays their schools overlap for a little over an hour so we were kid free and took advantage of it!
Kellan and Crue made a new friend, Lincoln Udall. It's always good to have sword buddies
Jojo came to visit again in August. They all had way too much fun.
The boys loved it
Crue was so happy Jojo got to sit by him in the car. He wanted to hold his hand the whole 45 minute drive to Nana's house.
We've been playing with Emerson a lot! These cousins get along so great!
We celebrated Elle's 3rd birthday! The boys started flag football in August. A couple practices got rained out and they weren't happy about it.
Another practice we had a beautiful rainbow!
So when we weren't getting rained out we got soaked with the ice bucket challenge. Caleb was nominated by his friend Brett Glenn.... we tried surprising him at home but he didn't react so we tried again right after school.
These two have started playing on their train table nonstop lately. I thought I was going to have to give the neglected thing away but then they just suddenly loved it! Now that's all they do!
Like I said before, we have been loving having Daddy home so much! He went to work today and both boys were a little beside themselves. It's still hot to swim! Kellan loves to catch some air on his jumps, thanks for Dad.
Crue too!
Kellan's side flip
Dad attached misters to the trampoline so now the boys can use it all year long!
The boys love flag football. They have long practices but they learn a lot. Kellan gets really intense and has become a coach favorite!
Caleb is more timid than Kellan but follows all the directions and thinks about his plays all day. He talks about it before he goes to sleep, when he wakes up and right when he gets home from school.
The hour and half long practices get a little boring for Crue so after he's tired of playing cars and eating snacks, we go exploring. I brought my camera to one of the practices and he said, "Take a picture of me on that bridge WAY over there." So we snapped some pictures before getting eaten by mosquitos.
He's a ham!

Great pictures! Love these boys in Awesome August! Xoxo, Nana
