Crue had his second birthday on the second day of our trip! We started the birthday day off right with a malasada breakfast! He LOVED it!
Happy Day! Crue is 2!
The other boys loved their malasadas too!
After breakfast we hit the beach! Can't beat that on your birthday!
The boys were chasing fish! And trying to catch them in their buckets.
I just marveled at what a beautiful day it was and how clear the water was. We were expecting a storm so I was pleasantly surprised!
I love how Crue wore his sunglasses all the time, everywhere.
Crue slowly adjusted to getting sandy. The other two were thrilled by it!Crue took several cuddle breaks from the sand and water.
The boys kept asking to go into "deep" water.
Crue just watched them and maintained a safe distance.
Justin and Shawna Uale met us at the beach with their sons Parker and Landon. Parker fit right in with our boys. It was so fun watching them play!
They were exploring, play football, wrestling and having lots of fun!
On the way home, Kellan slipped his shades on and drifted off into sweet slumber! Caleb couldn't believe how fast he fell asleep!
This kid can seriously fall asleep anywhere, within seconds! On the trip he would fall asleep practically EVERY time we got in the car!
Caleb's homework while he was away from school was to keep a journal about his vacation. He loves to write!
All the boys, especially Crue, were obsessed with Grandma's toy cash register!
Crue knows the value of "MONEY!"
That evening we had Grandma and Grandpa Young, whom we've decided to call Gung-Gung and Po-Po, and the Kaopua family over for a birthday dinner. Caleb showed Gung-Gung and Po-Po his journal.
The boys always loved having their cousins over.
We had yummy cupcakes! Crue loved having everything sing "Happy Birthday to you!" to him and blowing out the candles. We had to do it over again and again!
It was a great birthday and we're glad we got to spend it with so many great people! Happy Birthday Crue!

I die over that pic of Kellan asleep in the car with his sunglasses on! HIS LIPS!
