At the beginning of June we spent the weekend at the Hilton Squaw Peak Resort for a staycation! The boys had a blast!
We were in Phoenix so we were able to eat dinner at one of the restaurants from my childhood, Los Compadres! Kellan got a huge plate of nachos!
Caleb was happy to get back to the hotel to SWIM!
The next morning we went mini golfing!
Kellan was not tall enough to go down the slide but we found an awesome lifeguard who said he could swim well enough and let him! He LOVED it!
Caleb was a little rebel and would twist around even though the lifeguards told him to stay on his back. He claimed he had no control!
After our staycation we got some caramel apples and made a pit stop before that at the candy store. Crue was in heaven.
Last weekend we went on a second staycation and it's our favorite so far! We stayed at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch. It had a sandy beach entry which the boys LOVED!
And an awesome, super tall slide. It shot you out of there pretty fast. We convinced another lifeguard to let Kellan down and he was brave and did it but once was enough. Caleb on the other hand went countless times!
It was Nana's birthday weekend so she came to stay too! We're glad we got to spend some time with her in the awesome pool. Nelly, Ben, Emerson and Papa came to hang by the pool for a bit too. I love this picture of Nana with her boys.
The boys favorite thing was to jump off the platform in the middle of the pool.Crue's attempt at a flip off the side.
We got to watch a movie poolside with popcorn!
We had brunch at the hotel restaurant. It was yum!
More jumping!
Kellan being silly!
Even though it was 109 degrees these boys wanted to sit in the hot tub!
Even more jumping!
It was an awesome, awesome staycation! We stayed at the pool for three hours past checkout and it resulting in this... SLEEPING BOYS! Kellan is no surprise but Caleb never naps and never falls asleep in the car. It must have been too much fun to handle. I can't wait for our next staycation!

Man! WE need to go stay at Gainey Ranch with our boys! That place looks awesome!
