The boys started school early this year because the district switched to modified year round schedule. Kellan is in Kindergarten! Caleb is in 3rd grade!
Caleb had been waiting for school to start since June so he was thrilled
Kellan was a little overwhelmed...
... very overwhelmed! I tried taking a picture and this is what he did when I said "smile!" I worried about him ALL day! He said he wanted to cry but didn't. When we picked him up he was all smiles and talked about the new friends he made.
We went to a celebratory first day of school dinner that night! He was giddy!
Crue is in his last year of preschool. He was so excited to wear his "rockstar" outfit and his new Lebron James shoes.

The boys love their new backpacks Nana and Papa bought them! We're so grateful for Nana and Papa and their back to school backpack shopping tradition!
This was taken on Friday of their first week of school. They all had a great week! And they're all still loving school!
Crue is having to adjust to Kellan being gone all the time. He's glad Uma is his buddy. They do a lot together!
His latest favorite is Uma pulling him on his bike.
We try to do a lot of playdates!
One morning Dad had to go into work late and Crue thought it was the best day ever to see Dad when he woke up! He was so excited and giddy all morning. We made Dad a lunch and Crue thought it was hilarious and fun! He talked about Dads lunch all day.
