Hawaii Day 1: Arrival and Sandy Beach

We left for Hawaii on April 11 at 8am!  We had to get the boys up around 5:30 to get there on time, but they were all smiles.  Crue did not sleep a wink on the plane.  Instead he wanted to talk and SING to everyone! It was a little challenging keeping him occupied because he doesn't watch TV, or play games on the tablet or phone, or color in any of the books I brought... but he was happy the whole 6 hours and not as mischievous as I was expecting.

Well we visited with Grandma, Auntie Bray and our cousins a bit before heading to the beach! Crue was not fond of the sand nor the big waves.  He got so worried every time the boys would get near the water.  One time a wave knocked Caleb over and I thought Crue was going to have a heart attack!  He was almost sobbing a few times over his brothers frolicking in the ocean! 

 We were lucky to see several whales breaching! It was so awesome!

 After Crue calmed down a bit he decided he wanted to lay around like his mama!

 We had to pull Caleb out of the water when it was time to go!  He would've been there all night.

 It was a good first day.  The boys think the beach showers are so funny! I think the boys in the beach showers are so funny! Kellan had to make sure he didn't miss any sand, anywhere!

So I have a lot to catch up on but I think I'm going to do all the pictures from our Hawaii trip first... but here's just a few fun pics of these kids cuddling.  

They love to hang out all together! 

As soon as Crue is up from his nap and he sees Caleb is home he goes and gets blankets out of the basket so they can sit on the couch and cuddle. 

 Crue is lucky to have such sweet big bros!

 Kellan and Crue spend the most time together.  Kellan looks out for Crue, just like Caleb looks out for Kellan. It's so cute!

Aloha Festival and homemade pizza

Two weekends ago we went to the Aloha Festival! It was the first time we went and it wasn't HOT!  It was actually really cold and raining part of the time.  We didn't eat our shave ice until the sun came out a bit! 

 Crue loved all the music and danced everywhere we went.  Caleb apparently was not fond of the chicken long rice.

 But we all loved our shave ice!

 When we got home we made PIZZA!

 Caleb didn't trust Kellan's pizza making skills.

 But he was confident in his own!

 I didn't get a picture after they came out of the oven because we were too busy EATING!  We had a fun Saturday!

A little about Kellan...

Several mornings out of the week I get to snuggle with this cute face!  He climbs in my bed and usually falls back to sleep but sometimes he just whispers in my ear and giggles.  We sleep, cuddle and watch TV until Crue wakes up.  

He runs to preschool every time I drop him off.  He gets very frantic when I pull up and has to make sure he has everything and that his backpack is on tight and then he runs!

Lately he's been sporting this Batman mask.  He just sits and stares at people while he wears it.  It can be quite unnerving. But cute too!

He's a helper!!! He wants to help me with all my projects and even with everyday household stuff.  Lately we've been redoing lots of furniture!

Here's our finished product of my nighstand.  I never took a before picture but just imagine brown... and worn.

Kellan loves this vest!  He was so excited when we bought Papa one for his birthday!  Now they can be twins!

Kellan is loving this warm weather because he gets to take his shirt off all the time!

One of my favorite, silly things about Kellan is his one eye that gets smaller than the other. This happens randomly, sometimes when he's smiling, scowling or just because!

Crue Boy

Here are some fun videos and pictures of our Crue Boy! He's talking so much so I got a video of him saying "Nelly" and "Abby". 

We all know Crue loves to dance! 

Crue really loves stuffed animals!  He still loves his baby "Trey-Trey" but now he's quite obsessed with "Woody".  I tried to get him to play with "Buzz Lightyear" but he only has a friend in Woody.

 Yesterday I found Crue in a new hiding spot.  He took all the blankets out and fits perfectly.  Caleb calls this his "Jack in the box" spot!
