Caleb got to celebrate his birthday four times this year! The first was in Hawaii. The second, was the Friday before his birthday at school. We took birthday cookies at the end of the day to his class. He was so excited but shy about it! He just kept blushing. All the girls were hugging him and the boys kept cheering for him. Kellan and Crue were thrilled to go to Caleb's school! They know quite a few of Caleb's classmates so they had fun.
This is Caleb's best friend, Brett! He has been such an awesome friend to Caleb and even Kellan and Crue. He is the sweetest and has such awesome siblings! We're so glad we met him and his family!Caleb was so grateful for us bringing the cookies! Makes me love him even more! He told me thank you more than once and talked about how it was such a good day. He's such a nice boy! He walked his brothers from school to our car. He does this every time we're at his school and holds their hands the whole time. He watches out for his brothers!!!
He got to come home a little early and Kellan and Crue were ecstatic! The three cuddled on the couch and watched a movie.
Saturday was Calebs birthday (April 27, yeah I'm catching up!) He opened gifts and then played with them!He loves money!
And giftcards! Thanks Nelly and Ben!
He got a hunting game from Dad and Mom
He got these circuit projects from Grandpa and LOVES it. He spends as much time as he can EVERY DAY building his "projects".
His next choice activity after his projects is building legos and Grandpa helped him out with that too! Thanks Grandpa!
Thumbs up on great presents!
Caleb and I went on a birthday date to the movies. We went and saw Jack the Giant Slayer. It was pretty good! Caleb liked it! Later that evening, our friend Ken Obray brought Caleb a present...
... it included candy and Caleb was overcome with happiness. He even hugged his candy...
On Sunday Caleb had his final birthday celebration. Nana and Papa came over and brought Caleb and Crue birthday presents and something for Kellan because he's cute.
Crue got his own football so he doesn't have to share with Kellan!
Caleb got a new bike helmet!
A Spider Man Wii game... we didn't realize it had a higher rating so exchanged it for Lego Batman, and he LOVES it (so does Kellan).I was super excited for this last present from Nana and Papa... a telescope!
Cake time!
Of course Crue thought it was his birthday again and had to blow the candles out.
I'm still a little on the fence about this hunting game but Caleb loves it.
But Papa loved it more! He might have hogged it a bit so I told Caleb, "Maybe you shouldn't have let Papa play." He scoffed and said, "I didn't!" Hahaha! I love Papa! This was hilarious!
He eventually shared! :)
Thanks Nana and Papa for celebrating with us and for the awesome presents! The week after his birthday we went to Target to spend all his birthday money. Thanks to everyone who gifted money. He LOVED "shopping like a grown up". What's funny about that is he spent A LOT of time in the baby toy aisle... hmmm. Did you notice the red shirt in several of these pictures? It's his new favorite and red is making it's way to be his favorite color. Thanks for the shirt Grandma! He LOVES it!
Overall it was a great birthday month! I can't believe my boys are growing so fast!
